Purpose and Description

Thank you for your interest in participating in the European project OpenPass4Climate (Erasmus+ KA220-HED, No. 2022-1-FR01-KA220-HED-000089354; https://openpass4climate.eu/). This project implements an Open Badges system to recognize eco-pedagogical activities and evaluate their impact on climate change engagement.

This activity has been favorably reviewed by the CEISH-UVa Ethics Committee with code 2025-CEUVa-021-I-1-Y-4.

 

By registering on this platform, you will be able to:

  • Request Open Badges that certify your sustainability competencies according to the European GreenComp framework
  • Provide voluntary feedback on the system to help us improve it
  • Contribute to research on the impact of eco-pedagogies on climate engagement

Voluntary and Free Participation

Your participation is completely voluntary and free of charge. You may withdraw at any time by deleting your account, without any negative consequences. There are no costs associated with your participation in this project.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

The basic data collected (name, surname, and email address) are necessary for issuing Open Badges and will be treated with strict confidentiality. Only authorized personnel from the participating universities will have access to this identifying data. For research purposes, only aggregated and anonymized data will be used (such as the number of badges issued per category and feedback provided without linking to identities).

Data Protection Information

In accordance with current data protection regulations, we inform you that your personal data will be processed to manage your participation in the OpenPass4Climate project. Your data will be stored on servers managed by Consorzio Scuola Comunità Impresa (CSCI, Italy), a project partner, with appropriate security measures to ensure data protection. Information on CSCI's privacy policy is available at https://www.csciformazione.eu/privacy/.

All personal data will be deleted at the end of the project. The legitimacy of this processing is based on your consent and on the fulfillment of missions carried out in the public interest. Your data will not be transferred to third parties outside the project consortium.

 

Your Rights

You have the right to access your data, request its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object, as provided under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Access to Results

You have the right to access the results of this research. Aggregated and anonymized results will be made available through the project website and academic publications. Individual results (your badges and progress) are accessible through your personal dashboard on the platform.
